We are seeking for our international client an IT-Manager (m/w).

Our client is a leading producer of healthcare products.

ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTON:

§  Managing all aspects of network infrastructure (servers, switches, firewalls, storage etc), including purchasing, installing, deploying, updating, repairing, administration of user rights etc

§  Working with European and US IT-teams to negotiate contracts and managing vendor relationships for outsourced systems and services, e.g. security, remote backups, VOIP phone services, internet service providers etc

§  Performing of soft- and hardware installation

§  Maintaining asset control for all EU technology

§  Cooperation with US and UK staff to manage the helpdesk environment in order to improve streamline technology responsiveness to outstanding technology issues

§  Overseeing all technology purchases for Germany

§  Developing and delivering new hire and professional development technology training to German employees

§  Providing 24/7/365 on-call support when environment/presenting issue warrants such as server and laptop issues etc

§  Performing troubleshooting and problem analysis for the purpose of diagnosing, repairing and/or replacing equipment

§  Reporting system issues to European IT-Manager

ABOUT YOU - YOU HAVE:

§  An academic education in the IT-sector

§  Professional experience with Windows Server 2003 or higher and PC troubleshooting (must be able to assemble a PC from the ground up, including Windows client installation and troubleshooting driver issues)

§  Understanding and proficiency in computer networking. Must have knowledge of TCP/IP addressing schemes, DHCP and VPN

§  Ability to configure and secure wireless routers

§  Cisco, Database, Progress, VMware and proAlpha ERP experience would be preferred

§  Fluent English and German language skills

§  Ability to travel 2-5 days to client`s office in NRW
