We are seeking for our international client a Product Manager - EMEA (f/m).

ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTON:

§  Analyzing requests for new features and products in the company's product line, to determine their market potential and the relative importance of each request in growing the company's business and profitability in the EMEA region. This will require travel throughout Europe and the former CIS states, to investigate the needs of specific farming regions, crops or OEM’s. Travel to Africa or the Middle East may be required, but will not be frequent, as the primary focus of this position is Europe and the former CIS states.

§  From analysis of market potential and strategic considerations, develop a master list of development priorities for the needs of the EMEA region. Continually update this list as product and feature developments are scheduled and completed, and as priorities may change due to changes in competitive product lines.

§  Assist the Product Managers for the different product lines, in determining clear specifications for products and features to be developed.

§  Communicate frequently with the Product Managers, to communicate and negotiate development priorities, as they schedule and follow development projects with the company's engineering department.

§  Work closely with the companies staff serving EMEA.

§  Travel to USA at least twice per year for face-to-face meetings with the US Product Managers.

ABOUT YOU - YOU HAVE:

§  Knowledge of farming practices used in the major crop growing regions of Western Europe. Knowledge of farming practices used in the former CIS states is desired, but can be learned on the job.

§  The ability to perform objective and logical analysis of technical requirements, market potential and strategic considerations.

§  The ability to communicate well with the company management, co-workers, dealers, farmers and OEM’s.

YOU ARE:

§  Fluent in spoken and written English. Speaking ability in other major European languages will be a plus.

§  Eager to travel (at least 25% of the weeks during the year).
