(•‿-) Wanted: Head of Growth

We are seeking for our international client a Head of Growth (m/f).

§  “Be the voice of growth”. You’ll be obsessed with the growth of our users’ base and revenues. You’ll know the key metrics by heart. You’ll feel terribly excited when they grow the way you want
§  Master the internal landscape. You’ll have a very clear view of the entire funnel, from lead generation to activation, referral and retention. You’ll understand our users, their motivations, their context. You’ll “feel” the product inside out: when the onboarding is not perfect, you’ll chase the product team until it is
§  Master the external landscape. You’ll know what other successful SaaS players do. You’re up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
§  Come up with improvement ideas across the whole funnel. Inspired by our users, our features, other SaaS businesses, and article from a VC, one of 20 newsletters you receive every day, your own creativity, you’ll come up every day with new ideas to generate and convert leads. Next to online marketing ideas, you’ll also come up with clever offline marketing tactics
§  Because you know that there is only so much you can do, you’ll naturally and strictly prioritize ideas based on expected ROI, leveraging the right data points
§  Implement most of the ideas. Even if you are not a pure journalist / developer / designer, you’re a bit of them. You are able to tell us in the morning “I saw this great ad on Facebook yesterday. Gave me an idea. I created 5 variations of a visual ad with different design, copy, CTA and landing pages. Should know if it works in 3 days. Excited to see the results”
§  Empower others. You can’t master everything; so you’ll also need to work with internal and external resources to get the job done
§  Measure, refine, improve. You’ll use data to continually monitor your experiments, killing the ones that do not deliver and amplifying the ones that do
§  Next to your growth hacking role, you’ll also lead the more conventional role of marketing: shape/refine our identity, create an impactful PR strategy, help create a compelling brand, work with designers to prepare sales and marketing material (website, video, …)

§  Track record. Achieved success in a similar role
§  Impact-driven. You naturally translate all efforts in # expected leads and conversions
§  Focused. You naturally apply the 80/20 rule
§  Doer, pragmatic. Done is better than perfect
§  Generalist. You consider your position at the intersection of Marketing, Design, Prod Dev, and Data Science
§  Optimistic and enthusiastic
§  Highly creative in identifying target audiences and clever ways to reach them
§  Passion for the Web in general and for SaaS B2B in particular
§  At ease discovering and playing with online tools (you won’t spend your time writing code but testing a new online tool and making it talk to our services should be a second nature)
§  Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
§  Tolerance for ambiguity. Masses of data don’t scare you, they stimulate you
§  Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hubspot, …)
§  Demonstrable experience writing irresistible ads, landing pages, calls to action
§  Proven experience of 2+ years as Digital Marketing Manager or similar
§  Previous experience in managing an online acquisition funnel (SEO, SEM, email marketing,…)
§  At ease in an international environment
§  Spotless spoken and written English
