client a Sales Director (m/f).
ASSIGNMENT
DESCRIPTON:
§ The Sales Director is responsible for exceeding the agreed order
and bookings targets on a quarterly and annual basis as defined in the Annual
Operating Plan. This will encompass sales of products and services across the
company`s product and services portfolio.
§ Identify opportunities, develop sales plans from strategic
planning to validation in coordination with Pre-Sales Engineers.
§ Drive sales process and methodologies to ensure pipeline health
and forecast accuracy as well as opportunity and account planning activities.
§ Positioning & sponsorship: executive level client
relationship building skills (enhance “advisor” position)
§ Consultative and solutions selling: communicate company`s value
proposition and able to build good solution to fit in.
§ Knowledge: detailed intimacy with local (market/account) deals,
trends, pains etc.
§ Creativity & innovation: out of the box selling from lead
generation to close.
§ Sales leadership & management: including planning, strategy prioritization
and oral and written communications.
§ Best practices excellence: able to leverage on company`s
territory, account and opportunity planning methodologies and PMO/reporting
processes.
§ Resource management: matrix play – able to assemble winning
integrated team.
ABOUT YOU -
YOU HAVE:
§ An academic qualification to the degree level preferred, but not
mandatory.
§ A minimum of 7 years professional sales, sales management and/or
account management experience in software, technology solutions or system
integration sales to the telecom industry.
§ Proven track record of closing large complex deals.
§ Experience in the Integrated Customer Management (ICM) products
areas preferred, including: marketing, sales, ordering, delivery, fulfillment,
billing, settlement, service, support and analytics.
§ Evidence of over-achievement and consistent attainment of
challenging targets required, with experience of successfully negotiating
complex deals where order values have exceeded $10 million.
§ Strong team experience, specifically demonstrating effectiveness
within a matrix organisation where highly developed influencing skills are
required.
§ Secures buy-in, with a collaborative approach to building
relationships and meeting account objectives.
§ Excellent presentation, oral communication and communication
skills in English.
§ Note: significant travel to customer sites is expected in this
role.
