client a: Transport Engineer (m/f).
Our customer is one of the market
leaders in the off-shore shipping business.
ASSIGNMENT
DESCRIPTON:
§ Responsible for design and engineering activities like transport
fixtures for sea fastening of components and equipment (e.g. wind turbine
generators and foundations)
§ Optimization of load-plan scenarios for wind turbine generators
/ foundation structures
§ Analysis of current and state-of-the-art offshore modes of
operation – process optimization
§ Provision of technical advice and support to the commercial and
operational teams
§ Supervision of local load and discharge operations
§ Attending operations and technical meetings with customers
ABOUT YOU -
YOU HAVE:
§ Academical training in naval architecture or offshore technology
at university level with main focus in mechanics, analysis of structures,
hydrodynamics and ship stability
§ > 1-2 years experience in maritime business and offshore wind
energy would be an advantage (focus on strength calculation re. cargo
processes, including sea fastening)
§ Knowledge of modern mathematical techniques in the field of
structural design and ship motions
§ Computer literate and knowledge of CAD, possibly AutoCAD or
Inventor and FE-Analysis, possibly ANSYS
§ Fluent English and German language skills
